This site collects as little as possible. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies and no third-party scripts loaded on page view.
What this site collects
Browsing the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a third party, so no request is made to an external provider when a page loads.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user agent — for security and reliability. These are retained for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.
If you contact me
Submitting the contact form or emailing me shares whatever you choose to include: typically your name, email address, company and a description of your situation. That information is used to reply to you and, if we work together, to deliver the engagement.
- It is never sold, rented or shared for marketing.
- You are not added to any mailing list. There is no newsletter.
- Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months.
If you book a consultation
Scheduling is handled by a third-party booking provider, which collects the details you enter when booking and processes them under its own privacy policy. Booking is entirely optional — you can email or call instead.
Client information
During an engagement I often see systems and data belonging to a client. Access is scoped to what the work requires and revoked when the engagement ends. Credentials are handled through your password manager rather than email, and I am glad to work under your own NDA or data processing agreement — in the event of a conflict, that signed agreement takes precedence over this page.
Your rights
State privacy laws — the Colorado Privacy Act here, the CCPA if you are a California resident, and comparable statutes elsewhere — give you the right to know what personal information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and not to be treated differently for asking. Most of them only bind organisations above a size threshold that a practice this small does not come close to meeting.
That distinction makes no practical difference here. Whichever state you are in, I will honour those requests. This site does not sell personal information and never has.
To make a request, email ryan@rmitcs.com. I will respond within thirty days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting existing clients are communicated directly rather than only posted here.
